Abductors of the Principal of Auga community grammar school, his vice and two teachers have demanded the sum of thirty five million naira as ransom for their release.

The Principal, Mr Joshua Adeyemi, his vice, Mr Ifedayo Yesufu and three teachers namely Mrs Bukola Oloyede, Funmilayo Adagunodo and Blessing Okeke were kidnapped on Thursday while travelling on the Auga-Ise road in Akoko East local government area of of Ondo state.

Mrs Okeke was later released because she was heavily pregnant.

Wife of the Principal, Mrs Hellen Adeyemi confirmed that the abductors contacted the family through a phone call, demanding a sum of #35million naira before his husband and the three others could be released.

Mrs Adeyemi appealed to the kidnappers to free her husband and the other abductors unconditionally as their demand was too outrageous and unaffordable for the affected families.

The situation has caused panic among residents of Auga akoko while the allegation of auga, Oba Samuel Agunloye promised that the community would work in collaboration with security agencies to ensure that the abducted workers were released.
