Ondo 2024 : Reps Member, Timehin Adelegbe Commences Women Mobilization for Ayedatiwa.
Ahead of the November governorship election in Ondo state, the lawmaker representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency at the green chamber has began women mobilization for the victory of governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa across the two local governments, Owo and Ose.
The lawmaker also called on Ondo women to rally round support for Governor Ayedatiwa as the flagbearer of All Progressive Congress, APC.
At the inauguration of Unit Coordinators of Adelegbe Women Forum, a frontline group of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Ose today at Ifon, the council headquarters, the ranking member of the house said all women must network with others to join hands in ensuring that Ayedatiwa wins at the forthcoming November gubernatorial election.
Represented by Hon. Eni Olotu, also known as Fagere, a member of Adelegbe Grassroot Movement who doubles as the Coordinator of Ayedatiwa Partners noted that the role of women in the society can never be underrated, he reiterated various benefits enjoyed by women in his various empowerment programmes. He equally promised of more women inclusion in the subsequent empowerment programmes.
“Nobody within the society can under rate women because they are very crucial to the progress of any developing society.
“As we are moving towards another election, all hands must be on deck to ensure we rally support for our Governor.
“The present administration, led by Governor Ayedatiwa takes women matter very important
“We can see the numbers of women appointed in government.
“There are other dividends of good governance to enjoy if we all queue behind our party candidate to emerge victorious come November.
While commending the lawmaker, for the love extended to women in the federal constituency, the group leader, Mrs Bose Olagookun lauded Adelegbe for his time to time relationship with the women. She promised total support by the women wing in the forthcoming guber election.
“We the women of Ose, we love our rep member, Adelegbe and we love him too. He has been showing that love since he has been in the house.
“Several empowerment materials, we have benefitted from him. And he also promised us of more.
“We decided to throw our weight behind Governor because he’s a very reliable leader and we are ready to work for the victory of our Governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa in the coming election.
The inauguration ceremony which had attendance Elder Funso Adeniba, Hon. Yomi Falana, Hon. Goke Agbede, Hon. Rotimi Olorunfemi, Mrs Bose Olagookun among others.
The APC Women leaders in Ose local government led other women and other party members to the ceremony.
