ONDO 2024 : ADDIDASDATIWA MOVEMENT CONDEMNS DESTRUCTION OF CAMPAIGN BILLBOARD IN OWO, CALLS FOR STRATEGIC MOBILIZATION FOR H.E AIYEDATIWA/ADELAMI’S VICTORY
I have been inundated with calls in the early hours of this morning by well wishers and unrepentant supporters of Aiyedatiwa/Adelami Gubernatorial Project, and by extention, the Obanoyen Abiola Sikiru (Adidas) Candidate for Owo Local Government Chairmanship Aspirant about the unfortunate destruction of our billboard in front of Imade College, Owo by unknown gunmen.
The Adidasdatiwa Movement wishes to bring to the attention of our party leaders, particularly,
His Excellency, Dr Olayide Adelami (min) and Hon. Omowumi Issac, that all our programs and activities have been geared towards protecting and promoting the interests of Hon.
Aiyedatiwa/Adelami mandate.
To ensure that this is done well, we have created a platform (AdidasDatiwaMovement) where a great percentage of Owo youths are being mobilized to participate actively in making sure that
the forth coming election is won by our trusted candidates, the duo of Hon. Ayedatiwa and Adelami as well as to ensure that our candidate for the Local Government election Adidas, also wins.
It is a shame and so disturbing, that the suspected culprit of this destructive act is also a
member of APC, who out of selfish reasons forgot that what must come first is the interest of the party in particular, and that of the community, in general.
It is my candid opinion that our focus should be on promoting and protecting the unity of the party, working towards ensuring that we do not lose to our opposing parties, while we work decently to ensure our individual victory without bitterness or hatred.
It’s important to bring this to the notice of our leader and father , Dr. Olayide Adelami (mni), Hon. Wunmi Isaac, Hon. Olayemi Adeyemi (Koko), Barrister Kola Olawoye (SAN), and all other leaders in Owo Local Government Area.
As a Group, whose mission is to deliver the mandate of Aiyedatiwa/Adelami come Nov. 16th, 2024, we will continue to focus on the strategies on securing the mandate and not be derailed
by the foolish behaviors of a group of people who cannot think well to know well enough that a house does not gain anything by waging war against itself.
Members of APC should work together, even as we pursue our individual ambitions.
It is also important for our leaders to caution the very individual/s who feel that their Chairmanship ambition is bigger and more important than the current project and program of making sure that Aiyedatiwa/Adelami win the coming election in Owo, in particular and in Ondo
State, in general.
It should be stressed that destruction of properties, in any form; is a No! No!!.
We must not allow our community to go through that again.
