Some leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, operating under APC Unity Forum headed by Alhaji Alli Olanusi today met in Abuja to fine tune their strategies of beating the incumbent, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to the ticket of the party ahead of the October 10, 2020 governorship election in the state.
The Abuja meeting was attended by Olanusi, Dr Olusegun Abraham; Senate Deputy Leader, Prof Ajayi Boroffice; Chief Olusola Oke, Engr Ifeoluwa Oyedele (represented), Barr Olarenwaju Kazeem and Barrister Bukola Adetula among others.

The meeting is one of the longest among the gladiators as it started yesterday and ended today.
A source at the meeting told our heritage reporters that the plot to present a consensus Aspirant against Akeredolu topped the agenda
The Forum had recently constituted a “7-man Candidate Emergence Committee” to pick a consensus Aspirant from among chieftains who will face Akeredolu in the party’s primaries.
