Ohanaeze Ndigbo amends constitution, calls for submissions
OWERRI – Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has called for submissions for the amendment of its constitution.
A statement from the Secretary-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Emeka Sibeudu, stated that the submissions will help to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of the organisation.
He said memoranda should be sent to the secretariat of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Enugu or ohanaezendigbosecretariat@gmail.com between March 1 and March 12, 2025.
“The Constitution of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide is currently undergoing review.
“As part of this process, we invite all Igbos to submit memoranda proposing amendments, suggestions, and ideas to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of our organization.
“To ensure inclusivity, we encourage submissions from various stakeholders, including state chapters, affiliates, Igbo communities worldwide, individuals with expertise in governance, law, and community development.
“Please submit your memoranda between 1st March and 12th March. A public hearing will be held on 14th March in Imo State, providing an opportunity for further discussion, clarification, and input.
“We value your contributions and look forward to receiving your valuable inputs. Your participation will help shape the future of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide”, the statement reads.
