OGIDI STANDSTILL : AS HON. EMEKA EBO (NWACHINAEMELU CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION) WELCOMES SEN. VICTOR UMEH TO IDEMMILI NORTH.*
*Activities in Ogidi, the headquarter of Idemmili North Local Government Area of Anambra State was temporarily brought to a halt as Nwachinaemelu Campaign Organisation ably led by Hon. Emeka Ebo, the incoming Honourable member for Idemmili North and South Federal Constituency joined Apga Stakeholders and party faithfuls to welcome Distinguished Senator Victor Umeh (Ohamadike Ndigbo) to Ogidi.
Hon. Emeka Ebo who hails from Ogidi and his numerous supporters welcomed Sen. Victor Umeh and assured him that Ogidi is Apga’s stronghold considering the massive support that Prof. Soludo garnered from Ogidi.
He recalled Sen. Umeh’s giants strides in the Senate and described his stay as the glory days when the Igbo nation had a voice, as he spoke without fear for the interest of the marginalised Igbo nation. He stated that it was Sen. Umeh’s singular motion that stalled the inauguration of EFCC board which had not representative from South East among other issues that affected south east and Ndigbo in general.
Hon. Emeka Ebo (Nwachinamelu) assured him that the good people of Ogidi will give him the maximum support in his bid to represent Anambra Central and the Igbo Nation in the hallowed chambers of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Distinguished Senator Victor OFR, Ohamadike Ndigbo appreciated the Human Capital empowerment Czar and the entire Apga faithful in Ogidi for the rousing welcome that was given to him.
Barrister Ifeatu Obiokoye, the Special Adviser to HE Governor Willie Obiano on political matters moved a motion by asking the people of Idemili North who are in support of Sen. umeh’s bid to raise up their ✋ and say yes.
The party faithfuls echoed in affirmative with a thunderous yes, Hon. Ifeatu also asked those, who are not in support to respond with a no, however, a deafening silence pervaded the crowd.
