ODHA MAJORITY LEADER ENGAGE RUGIPO NASU AND SSANIP CHAPTER IN PEACE TALK TOWARDS ENDING STRIKE
SEEK LASTING SOLUTIONS TO THE CRISIS AFFECTING THE INSTITUTION
The Ondo State House of Assembly Majority Leader, Honourable Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi (WEST), met with Rufus Giwa Polytechnic NASU and SSANIP for peace talk aimed toward ending the strike.
The news was contained in an information dully signed by the lawmaker sent to our heritage reporter which is solely meant To find a long-lasting solution and convince the respective parties, the Majority Leader appealed to NASU and SSANIP to halt the strike.
The Institution’s operations have been affected for a while, leaving administrative stranded and up to date; no progress. He urged the union members to resume full activities because the students’ activities on campus depend on their activeness. Furthermore, the ODHA Majority Leader understands that the union is agitating for better welfarism of their staff and the institutional environment.
However, he urges them that agitation can only progress when there is an understanding between the management and the union. He commends them for their effort, which has made RUGIPO stand out over the years. In attendance are MR CHRIS OLOWOLADE (SSANIP Chairman), MR Obayoriade Adebayo (NASU Chairman), and other prominent union members. The ODHA Majority Leader hopes the peace talk will make union members change their hearts.
