NUC approves 10 new programmes for Ondo varsity
The Vice-Chancellor of Wesley University, Prof Sunday Obeka has commended the management of the Nigeria Universities Commission for the approval of 10 new academic programmes for the institution.
Sunday PUNCH gathered that the NUC, in a letter dated January 27, 2025, approved establishing 10 new academic programmes for the university, following a resource verification visit by the NUC panel.
In a letter signed by Acting Director of Academic Planning Abubakar M. Girei on behalf of the Executive Secretary, the NUC confirmed that the newly approved programs would run on the university’s main campus and take effect from the 2024/2025 academic session.
Appreciating the NUC, Obeka, in a statement issued on Friday, said the NUC had done well, describing the development as a significant milestone for the university.
