☆☆☆ I was on a short holiday few years ago and I went to one of our parishes in RCCG to worship.
☆☆☆ It was on a Sunday, I was treated like a first timer and given a front seat. I was happy because I could see everything clearly.
☆☆☆ That would also give me the opportunity to learn one or two things which could help me in my parish.
☆☆☆ The married women (women of Zion) were called upon to minister in songs, to my surprise, I noticed that most of these ladies were in their thirties.
☆☆☆ I looked at the main choir, they were mostly youth. Even the pastor himself was a youth then and already a Pastor in – charge of Zone.
☆☆☆ The ministers were all young men and women.
☆☆☆ Before you begin to think that the parish in question may be a young parish, the church was preparing for her 17 years anniversary then and our father in the Lord, Pastor E. A Adeboye, was to dedicate their gigantic edifice built for the Lord.

☆☆☆ Now to my point for today:
☆☆☆ Have you noticed from our bible verse for today that daddy Methuselah was the oldest man that ever lived!!!
☆☆☆ He lived for 969 years before he died.
☆☆☆ Check the bible, apart from being the oldest man who ever lived, daddy Methuselah had nothing more to be remembered for.

☆☆☆ Beloved, you are in your church counting years. Continue.
☆☆☆ When the pastor newly transfered to the parish is looking for those who have been long in the church to give him a brief history of the church, you are readily available. Weldon.
☆☆☆ You were there when that parish was established and have the record of every pastor who has pastored the church. Bravo.
☆☆☆ When they are looking for elderly people to settle quarrels in the church, your name readily comes to mind. Good job.

☆☆☆ From experience, most of the rancour in the church today are caused by those who have been too long in the same parish. I stand to be corrected.
☆☆☆ Beloved, if you don’t make yourself relevant and begin to do something better and glorious for God, the young ones are coming behind to kick you out of that seat of “honour” you currently occupy; either in the church or in the secular.

☆☆☆ Remember, a man’s wealth is not measured by the amount of money he has in his bank account but by the number of lives he has touched.
☆☆☆ How many people will smile whenever they hear your name!!!

☆☆☆ The bible says????

“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot”.
[16] “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth” – Revelation 3:15&16.

☆☆☆ Stop being the Methuselah of your time only by age, let God see your good works.
☆☆☆ Despite the number of fruitless years that Methuselah spent on earth, he still died.
☆☆☆ Death will come one day and God will ask you to render the account of your stewardship.
☆☆☆ The bible says ????

“And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward” – Luke 16:2.

☆☆☆ What account will you give on the last day beloved.
☆☆☆ God will surely ask you how you lived your life.
☆☆☆ How many people have you impacted their lives positively?
☆☆☆ Examine yourself and do the needful from today.

PRAYERS
1. Father, let my life run according to your purpose and plan in Jesus name.

3. Father, let my life run according to the script the heaven has written concerning me.
4. Father, make my life an epistle of your faithfulness in Jesus name.

6. Father, make my life a life of positive impacts to others in Jesus name.
7. I refuse to be counted as a fruitless tree before God on the last day.
8. Oh God my father, don’t allow any position I occupy to become the god I serve.
