No More Abandoned Trucks On Our Roads in Ondo state – Hon. Oriade Adebawo Declares as He Clears Igbatoro Road
In a swift response to a traffic obstruction, Hon. (Prince) Wellington Oriade Adebawo, Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Emergency Response, sprang into action on Thursday November 21, towing a vehicle loaded with logs that had broken down along Igbatoro road, Akure, causing a significant traffic jam.
Hon. Adebawo alongside his team arrived at the scene and brought relief to commuters who had been stuck in traffic earlier. The team worked efficiently to clear the road, ensuring that traffic flow was restored to normal, as the vehicle was moved away from the road.
Prince Adebawo, known for his proactive approach to emergency response, made great effort in ensuring that the vehicle was safely towed away, and the road was cleared of any debris.
In a stern warning to truck drivers and owners, Prince Adebawo emphasized that no abandoned trucks would be allowed on the road. He stressed that such vehicles pose a significant risk to public safety and can cause unnecessary traffic congestion.
The warning is a clear indication of the state government’s commitment to ensuring public safety and maintaining order on the roads. In his words, the Special Assistant on Emergency Response said that Ondo State Government has been working tirelessly to improve the state’s infrastructure, including its roads, thereby ensuring that the roads are clear and safe for commuters which is a testament to the government’s commitment to providing quality services to its citizens.
