NIGERIANS HAVE RIGHT TO PROTEST WHEN GOVERNMENT FAILS TO DO THE RIGHT THINGS – OLASUMBO FASEESIN
If you forbid protest, then do it right. Nigerians have a right to protest indignity or, most essentially, a breach of their Fundamental Human Rights.
We must only encourage a system that works.
You might wish to reconsider & review your oath of office where leadership becomes impossible, incapable or, incompetent
We only need a crave leadership that guarantee the welfare & wellbeing of our people.
Section40 of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) makes provision for free assembly, association or, where necessary form trade union for the protection of interests. The draftsman contemplates less or, no limitations to Chapter 4.
Especially, the exercise of these rights from S33
Advisedly, the Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR is by this immutable provision of the Constitution encouraged to provide security for willing protesters who among other things have their inalienable rights violated in the manner our country is plunge to poverty, penury, hunger and obviously the needless astronomical increase in prices of basic needs & services. How ungodly? Yet, they mustn’t protest!
Mr. President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, I favourably wrote in 2020 and you might fact check my honest analysis as to what constitute your emergence. That may guide you going forward on the need to determine more reasonably our opinions on why the people are bent on protest. Note, they have a Constitutional right in this regard!
I rather you come public; interact & interface with the people and give assurances for improved services. They need to hear the immediate & longtime solution to these ungodly, satanic & wicked circumstance we currently experience in Nigeria 🇳🇬
We cannot pretend no more cause Nigeria is nose-diving irredeemably, and your conscientious attention is the least likely remedy. It must be altruistic with the right team who are passionately concerned not greedy bastards!
