Nigerians Call for Sale of NNPC
Some Nigerians have call for the sale of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) for it’s inability to stabilize the oil and gas sector. This call was made today when galaxy news correspondent Segun Falomo sought the views of Nigerians on the pump price hike made on Tuesday by the NNPC.
They argue that government seems not to be sincere with the removal of oil subsidy hinging it on the inconsistency in prices and non availability of PMC products. Hence the call for Federal government to hands off the running of the organisation and allow private investors to take over the NNPC.
Motorists lamented the waste of productive hours spend queueing up for hours at the various filling station before they can Access the expensive products, while urging the Bola TINUBU led government to urgently address hike in prices and scarcity. They however admonish government to encourage investors to invest in the oil and gas sector, while Dangote refinery should be allow to sell directed to oil marketers.
