Nigerian overnor reportedly loses sister
Atsi Kefas, the sister of Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas, has reportedly died.
According to Premium Times, she passed away just four days after being injured in a robbery attack.
Atsi, 44, died at a private hospital in Abuja while receiving care for the injuries sustained during the incident.
The attack occurred early Thursday on Kente Road in Wukari Local Government Area when bandits targeted the vehicle carrying Jummai Kefas, the governor’s mother, and Atsi.
Following the incident, Atsi was taken to the Federal University Teaching Hospital in Wukari before being moved to Abuja for advanced treatment.
Although her death has not been officially confirmed by the family or state officials, reliable sources have confirmed that she passed away Monday night in Abuja.
Condolence messages have since poured in from friends and well-wishers on social media.
