Nigerian man dies following car accident a year after moving to UK
A heartbreaking tragedy befalls the family of Patrick Ubong, a beloved husband and friend, who passed away suddenly after a period of recovery from a severe car accident in the UK.
Patrick had a head-on collision with a trailer on September 23rd, which totalled his car and left him hospitalized, but he remained resilient.
After being discharged on crutches just days later, he was determined to recover and continue to be a source of light and strength for his loved ones.
However, on the evening of October 17th, Patrick’s wife, Lily, returned home to find only his crutches. After hours of frantic searching, she received the devastating news that her husband had been found lifeless in the corridor of their apartment.
Patrick and Lily moved to the UK in 2023 to pursue further studies at Ulster University, while Patrick worked hard to support their life abroad.
Patrick’s passing has left Lily in unimaginable pain and uncertainty, and now she needs the support of the community. Friends of the couple are asking for donations and assistance to help Lily during this difficult time as she faces the emotional and financial burdens ahead.
