Nigerian Chamber of Commerce USA Endorse Senator Izunazo for Senate President.
In recognition of the federal character principle and display of patriotism to the progress of Nigeria as a country, the executives of the Nigerian Chamber of Commerce–USA, respectfully call for support of the Distinguished Senator Osita Bonaventure Izunaso of the Imo West senatorial district for the position of the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the executive members Hon. Christian N. Ihenacho, Chairman, Mr. Gregory U. Ihenacho, Founder/CEO and Engr. Emmanuel Ihenacho, CFO.
According to them, their decision is an attestation of his character as a seasoned political figure from the Southeast; a founding member of All-Progressives Congress (APC) Party who has served the Party excellently over the years in various capacities and as well has exhibited exemplary leadership and competence in his duties.
Being a former member of the House of Representatives; and a statesman. Apart from his service as a Founding Organizing Secretary of APC, Senator Izunaso also served as Chairman of the House
Committee on Housing and Urban Development at the Federal House of Representatives following his emergence as a member in the 2003 general elections.
His impressive performance equally earned
him the position of Chairman of the Nigerian Senate Committee on Gas following his victory in 2007. He is a philanthropist and the founder of Kpakpando Foundation, a non-governmental organization established in 2006 to support the less privileged, especially those who are physically challenged
persons.
“As a man with an untainted track record and immense experience in the Nigerian legislature, we strongly believe in his ability to lead the Tenth Senate to facilitate effective communication and synergy between the upper and lower chambers of the National Assembly, and the Presidency, while
at the same time serving in the best interest of Nigerians” they said.
This group strongly support the candidacy of Senator Osita Bonaventure Izunaso as the President of the 10th Senate, while humbly calling on all distinguished members of the Senate to vote for Izunaso for the betterment of all persons.
