Kenyan woman and former Morning Kiss host, Kamene Goro, has advised women to consider marrying men they have placed in the friend zone.
During a recent podcast, Goro shared insights about her marriage to DJ Bonez, highlighting that their first year together has been a positive experience, and her feelings for her husband remain consistent since they began dating.
Goro emphasized that women should not Ignore their male friends as “just friends,” pointing out that many women overlook the potential of these friendships developing into lasting relationships.
She warned against being deceived by a man’s looks and height, suggesting that the friend-zoned individual might be the ideal partner for a lifetime.
She said: “I got married now. Ive been married for like a year. I thought there would be a different feeling once you’ve gotten into that marriage space. No, not really. It’s just like some long-drawn dating. We’ve also become more friends, which is something you should be on the lookout for. Don’t be falling for these guys out here at, oh, he is tall. Find your homeboy. That guy you’ve been putting in the friend zone could be the person you spend the rest of your life with. I’m just saying, though. But I’m still in the experimental stage.”
