NCAA approves five aviation security documents
The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority has approved five critical aviation security documents, signifying a major stride in strengthening aviation safety and security in Nigeria.
The authority made this announcement in a statement via its official X account on Thursday.
The documents developed internally over three years include the National Civil Aviation Security Programme, National Civil Training Programme, National Quality Control Programme, Certification Programme, and National Contingency Plan.
Speaking on the achievement, the NCAA Director General, Capt. Chris Najomo praised the efforts of the Aviation Security team, led by the Director of Aviation Security, Ben Omogo.
The statement, “The documents, developed in-house over three years, include the National Civil Aviation Security Programme, National Civil Training Programme, National Quality Control Programme, Certification Programme and National Contingency Plan.
“Capt. Najomo commended the AVSEC team, led by Director of Aviation Security, Mr. Ben Omogo, for their dedication and emphasized the importance of maintaining standards through regular audits.”
