The leadership of the Apex body of Nigerian Students body – National Association of Nigerian Students, (NANS), Philippines Zone, ably led by Rev Comr Okoye Chikelue Christian, amidst the economic hardship has exempted all the Nigerian Students from paying their individual dues until further notice to enable them meet up with their personal financial responsibilities and focus in their academics.

This consideration was also made by the President as part of the efforts of the re-structuring mandate of bringing NANS, it’s programmes and impacts back to campus for holistic welfare of the Nigerian Students.

Constitutionally, this excludes School yearly subscription.

 

Other Highlights from Townhall Meeting as released to our heritage reporter by the Association president includes:

    Pastor Dada John’s heartfelt opening prayer set a reverent and inclusive tone for the town hall meeting, invoking blessings and guidance for all participants as they engaged in meaningful dialogue and collaboration.

  2. Official Unveiling of the NANS-Philippines Zone: The first official document produced by NANS-Philippines Zone was unveiled, marking a significant milestone for the organization.

  3. Role of Diplomats in Ensuring Peace and Defense: Mr. Edward Adeshina Oloje provided insights into diplomats’ crucial role in promoting peace and defense.

  4. Citizen Welfare Prioritization: Mr. Edward Adeshina Oloje further delved into prioritizing citizen welfare, addressing pertinent issues concerning the community.

  5. The Connection Between Graduation and Personal Goals: Mrs. Charity Ekeada-Davidson facilitated discussions on the correlation between graduation and personal goals, offering valuable perspectives.

  6. Orientation and Guidance on Thriving as a Foreign Student in the Philippines: Mrs. Charity Ekeada-Davidson shared orientation and guidance aimed at assisting foreign students in thriving within the Philippine academic environment.

  7. Emphasis on Hope: Mr. Leonard Ekhasomhi Asekhame emphasized the importance of hope, inspiring attendees with messages of resilience and optimism.

  8. Discussion on the Way Forward: Mr. Leonard Ekhasomhi Asekhame led a discussion on the path forward, encouraging collaborative efforts toward positive change and progress.

  9. Encouragement from Chief Emmanuel Obinna Ude (Chief Udesis):
    Chief Emmanuel Obinna Ude (Chief Udesis) provided words of encouragement towards the end of the meeting, inspiring attendees and the NANS-Philippines zone executives
