National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, has elected a new executive.
The election is the last phase of the national convention held between June 24-27.
A statement signed by the Convention Clerk, ATBU Bauchi, Muhammadu lsah said Comrade Abdulmajeed Oyeniyi emerged the National President with Comrade Paul Bidas Tenti as Vice President, National Affairs.
The statement noted that Comrade Helen Efenji was elected Vice President, Special Duties, Comrade Isangobong Eyibio as PRO, and Comrade Jamiu Abdullahi, Deputy Senate President.
The convention was preceded by the election of the convention chairmen, Comrades Peter Bassey Asuquo and Modibbo Ibrahim after Comrade Danielson Akpan, the outgoing chairman declared the convention open.
