NANS Diaspora Denounces Malicious Press Release, Affirms Legitimacy of New Leadership
…….Reaffirms Commitment to Student Welfare…..
The National Association of Nigerian Students in Diaspora (NANS Diaspora) under the dynamic leadership of Comrade Chris Juwon Fayomi is compelled to address a recent press release by unknown individuals attempting to undermine the unity and progress of our esteemed organization. This malicious attempt to disrupt the harmony and stability of NANS Diaspora will not be tolerated.
*RECENT ELECTIONS AND INAUGURATION*
On March 22nd, the 4th Executives of NANS Diaspora were elected in a free, fair, and transparent process by I-ELCOM Form by General Assembly,screened and approved by NANS D Senate council , and Comrade Chris Juwon Fayomi emerged victorious for the second time, testament to his unwavering dedication and commitment to the betterment of the Association. Following a call-back letter from various student axes, he successfully won the election and was inaugurated on April 12th alongside other executives.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by notable figures, including:

We condemn in the strongest possible terms any attempts by individuals to disrupt the unity and progress of NANS Diaspora through false narratives and misinformation. Our organization is built on the principles of unity, transparency, and effective governance, as reflected in our recently reviewed constitution. We have made significant strides in promoting the welfare and interests of Nigerian students abroad, and we will not let the actions of a few detractors undermine our efforts.

As the elected leadership of NANS Diaspora, we remain committed to promoting unity among Nigerian students abroad and ensuring inclusive, transparent, and effective governance. We will continue to work tirelessly to advance the interests of our members, provide support and resources, and uphold the values of our organization. Our doors are open to constructive criticism and feedback, but we will not tolerate any attempts to destabilize our organization through malicious propaganda.

We urge our members and the public to disregard any unauthorized press releases and be assured that we will take necessary legal actions against those attempting to destabilize our organization. We will not hesitate to seek redress in a court of law to protect the reputation and interests of NANS Diaspora. We call on all well-meaning Nigerians and stakeholders to support our efforts in promoting the welfare and interests of Nigerian students abroad.
