My Wife Failed To Identify Him – Dele Momodu Posts Recent Image Of Former Vice President Osinbajo
Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was observed at the Detroit Metro Airport in the U.S., unaccompanied by security personnel or an entourage. Dele Momodu, a prominent figure in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), shared a recent photograph of Osinbajo on his Instagram page on Saturday night, approximately six months after his departure from office.
Momodu mentioned that Osinbajo was seen carrying his own bag like any other traveler, and even his wife didn’t initially recognize him until he presented his Nigerian passport.
He wrote: “The former Vice President, just six months out of office, was at the Detroit Metro Airport, unaccompanied by security or an entourage. He carried his luggage like any ordinary traveler. My wife didn’t even recognize him until he showed his Nigerian passport. Respect.”
In the midst of this, Dele Momodu expressed his support for Rufai Oseni, an anchor on Arise Television. Oseni had a heated exchange with a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Jesutega Onakpasa, discussing President Bola Tinubu’s policies and the challenging economic conditions in the country.
Following this incident, supporters of the ruling party have continued to criticize Oseni, while members of opposition parties have shown support for the TV anchor. In a post on his verified social media account, Momodu acknowledged that Oseni, like others, deserves criticism for his style of interviewing guests on live television, but he expressed his expectation for critics to maintain a respectful tone rather than resorting to abusive language.
