Socialite Sophia Egbueje has unveiled her new Lamborghini amid a public dispute with Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, whom she claims promised to buy her the luxury vehicle but failed to deliver.
Tribune Online reported that in leaked audio recordings, Sophia claimed Burna Boy assured her he would purchase a Lamborghini after they became acquainted through mutual friends. Disappointed by his unfulfilled promise, she eventually decided to acquire the car herself.
Egbueje, in a post on Saturday, captioned it: “My baby is here. As dem no buy am, I buy am.”
Responding to the controversy, Burna Boy addressed the allegations in a lighthearted manner. According to a Tribune Online report, in a video posted yesterday, he quipped, “I no buy you Lambo, is that why you are shouting?” This remark underscores his dismissive stance on the issue.

Amid the controversy, former Big Brother Naija star Mercy Eke also unveiled her own Lamborghini on Friday. She shared the news on social media with the caption: “LAMBO in a LAMBO. I know y’all saw this one coming—it was always a matter of when. My newest pet is finally here.”
