Hon. Manzo speaking through his Media and Communication Assistant, Amb Timothy Nwachukwu stated that Nigerian Youths have all it’s takes to take the world by storm, hence the deliberate efforts of the administration of President Buhari in initiating policies and social investment Programs that will empower the youths to achieve their dreams.

Hon. Gambo Manzo however, expressed sadness that the involvement of some Nigerian youths in cyber crime is destroying the reputation of the country, making the business environment difficult for start-ups and smes, while discouraging investment in the economy by foreign companies.

He revealed that some parents, guardians among others are to blamed by subjecting those Children and wards to unnecessary pressure to make money at all cost not minding the negative perception that it will have on the society at large.

*He appealed to Nigerian students to take ownership of the fight against cyber crime, drug peddling and channel their potentials positively for the good of the country by shunning all forms of cybercrimes, urging them to embrace the virtue of hard work and contentment.*

Hon. Manzo warned that cyber crimes has thrown up emergency millionaires and billionaires in the nation’s economic system which is injurious to the nation’s economic growth as most of such funds acquired illegally are not been used productively to promote the economy.

*He bemoaned the fact that cybercrime has created an image nightmare for Nigeria as most scam e-mails are thought to originate from Nigeria or Nigerians which is actually not the case. It has also earned her a spot in the present ranking in Transparency International where Nigeria is being listed as one of the most corrupt nations in the world.*

He revealed that cyber crime threatens foreign investment in our country, it misrepresents us among other nations, It stigmatised our genuine business men and women as they face certain barriers when carrying out legitimate businesses. Majority of the business men and women go through a strenuous screening before foreigners would eventually agree to transact business with them.

*Hon. Gambo Manzo however expressed his appreciation to millions of deligent and hard-working Nigerian youths who are engaged in music, tech and other legitimate businesses and who have Continued to put the country on a positive limelight.*

*He reiterated his commitment towards a positive colloboration with other Federal agencies like National Orientation Agency, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC), Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) The Nigeria Police Force and the private sector towards curbing the menace of cyber-crime, drug peddling and other vices among Nigerian Youths.*
