MFM distributes foodstuffs to 1,000 Abuja widows, others
The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, North Central Region 33, Byazhin, Kubwua, Abuja has given food items to vulnerable persons, widows and the less privileged.
No fewer than 1,000 people got garri and other food items through the initiative meant to provide some succor to the hungry.
According to the Regional Overseer, MFM Kubwa Regional Headquarters, Oluwole Usikalu, the gesture aims at ameliorating the suffering of the less privileged.
Usikalu added that the move was also in adhering to God’s command to feed the poor, provide for widows and take care of the less privileged.
He restated the commitment of the MFM to touching lives positively through other CSR programmes like skill acquisition and empowerment.
He stressed that the MFM Byazhin remained committed to organising free entrepreneurial and skills acquisition programmes, with the provision of free starter packs.
He promised that the church would continue to engage the youths through sporting activities, and information technology training.
This, he said, aimed at making as many as possible financially independent.
