An empowerment like Carnival in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo state, as the Federal Lawmaker representing Owo and Ose federal constituency, Hon Timehin Adelegbe completes his seven events and four days empowerment with a mega and heavyweight programme

Initially, the Lawmaker has empowered over 3000 youths with skill acquisition in soap making, given out start up capital and kits to all beneficiaries, he has also empowered market women, Non-indegens, Artisans in first three days of the empowerment programme in the two local Government Area of the Federal constituency.

The mega empowerment on Saturday ninth of November was like carnival as over one thousand constituents trooped out en masse to benefit from the mega empowerment and self reliance programme of the lawmaker.

The presence of Traditional rulers from the two Local Government which includes, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye, the Olowo of Owo, Oba Olupenme, Olute, Asuada, Oliyere and others made the programme more colourful and added glamour.

The Governor of Ondo state, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa when arrived, was overwhelmed of the huge impacts, the mega empowerment will make on the people of Owo and Ose federal constituency.

The Governor, when addressing the people during the event commeded the lawmaker, he said” It can only take a man full of love for the people to do all these, indeed the people of Owo and Ose have chosen the right person for representative assignment.

We are proud of this excellent service for the people, I have not seen this type of huge empowerment in my life the Governor said, he however appeal to the people of Owo and Ose to come and vote massively in the next Saturday Governorship Election to further enjoy the benefits of good governance in Ondo state.

The Lawmaker expressed heart full of happiness to the Governor for making it to the occasion,despite of his tight schedule of the electioneering period, he also hamp on the joyious feelings of the Beneficiaries.

According to him, Our people are happy and excited, because they have not seen this type of mega empowerment in the history of the two local Governments, It’s all showing In the eyes of the people, Hon. Adelegbe said.

Discharging further, The lawmaker said that the seven days event cummulatively is over one billion naira, we have given 300 market women 30,000 each as cash grant to help their businesses, we have impacted and empowered a lot in the last few days and today been the last day of the programme, I am delighted to have gotten thus far in empowering lives and the people are excited, the Lawmaker said.

Expanciating more on his impacts on the people as a good representative of the people, Hon Adelegbe said” This is my sisth empowerment programme, every year I use to remember my people and I have been doing this since about five years ago and I will not stop giving back to the people, in few weeks time I want to flag off seven kilometers ute road, begin the construction of Owo township stadium and that of ifon, I have distributed over 1000 solar light into different communities of Owo and Ose local government, I have built palace and one is ongoing in Ose local Government, all these to show the level at which we have gone

As as results, I want to implore the people of Owo ose federal constituency to reciprocates this gesture by voting for APC and Governor Aiyedatiwa in the November 16th election, the Lawmaker Said.

The beneficiaries were filled with joy and echos of appreciation to the kind Gesture of Hon. Timehin Adelegbe, rating him as God sent representative.

Items Distributed includes: Generator set, Grinding machines, sewing machines, industrial pumping machines, Motorcycles, hair Dryer, Keke Nanpep, volcanizing machines, Refrigerator and freezer.
