In the past, people thought acting was only for certain people. But now, things have changed. Many actors are smart, have degrees, and teach in universities.

Here’s a list of 10 Nigerian actors who teach and act:

1. Peter Fatomilola

Peter Fatomilola is a Nigerian actor and lecturer. He was born on January 16, 1946, in Ekiti State. He joined a theater group in 1967 and studied Theater Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University. He became a lecturer at the same university and taught drama.

2. Sola Fosudo

Sola Fosudo is an actor and lecturer from Lagos State. He studied drama at Obafemi Awolowo University and the University of Ibadan. He works as a senior lecturer and head of the Theater Arts department at Lagos State University.

3. Professor Ayo Akinwale

Professor Ayo Akinwale is an actor, producer, and academic. He was born in Ibadan and studied at the University of Ibadan. He lectures at the University of Ilorin and is the chairman of Oyo State Council for Arts and Culture.

4. Hafiz Oyetoro

Hafiz Oyetoro, also known as Saka, is an actor and lecturer. He was born on August 20, 1963, in Oyo State. He studied Theater Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University and the University of Ibadan. He teaches at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education.

5. Doyin Hassan

Doyin Hassan is an actor and lecturer. He holds a PhD in Marketing and works as a senior lecturer at Lagos State University. He has appeared in several Christian movies.

6. Professor Akinwunmi Isola

Professor Akinwunmi Isola is an actor, writer, and academic. He was born in 1939 in Ibadan. He studied at the University of Ibadan and became a professor at Obafemi Awolowo University.

7. Kola Oyewo

Kola Oyewo is an actor and lecturer. He was born on March 27, 1946, in Osun State. He studied Theater Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University and the University of Ibadan. He teaches at Redeemer’s University.

8. Sam Dede

Sam Dede is an actor and lecturer. He worked at the University of Lagos and now teaches at the University of Port Harcourt. He also directs the Rivers State Tourism Development Agency.

9. Tunji Sotimirin

Tunji Sotimirin is an actor and lecturer. He has appeared in numerous movies and teaches Theater Arts at the University of Lagos.

10. Joke Silva

Joke Silva is an actress and lecturer. She studied at the University of Lagos and Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She co-founded the Lufodo Academy of Performing Arts and is director of studies.
