A large group of market women seized the equipment of a pastor who preached in the market after he allegedly insulted them during his sermon.

This incident was captured in a viral video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, and has sparked widespread reactions.

In the video, the women are seen protesting against the pastor, who reportedly made derogatory remarks about them while preaching.

According to one of the market women, the pastor insulted the Urhobo women, referring to them as “goats.”

She said, “A pastor came here, he was preaching, and then he said all the market women, all the Urhobo women here, are goats. That’s why we gathered here. Even including his mother, he said she’s a goat too.”

The situation escalated as some of the market women lifted the pastor’s speakers in protest.
