Make A Girl Foundation set to empower about 200 intelligent indigent girls of Community Secondary School Okpuno through her KEEP A GIRL IN SCHOOL PROJECT in Awka Anambra State.
The event which will take place on Monday 1st February 2021 in Awka is targeted at educationally empowering SS 1 and SS2 community secondary school girls as a way of amielorating the economic havoc caused by COVID-19 and other challenges accompanied by the pandemic.
Many young girls are challenged by difficulties like affording text/exercise books, and paying school fees and these obstacles can prevent even the best students from completing their education on time, if at all.
*About Make A Girl Foundation*
Make A Girl Foundation was borne out of the desire to see intelligent girls who can’t afford tuition fees off the street.
MAG before it’s official inception this year, it was a personal thing whereby school fees of kids were paid and educational materials distributed to the less previledged ones around me.
Make A Girl Foundation, an NGO whose sole aim is to help with the education needs of the girl child has only three trustee members.
*Objective*
As an initiative created to ensure a continued educational pursuit for a girl child to at least a senior secondary level, the pursuit for now is targeted at meeting the salient needs of school children in Anambra State hence working as a subsidiary of other initiatives in reaching out to girls.
We are motivated by the belief that every concerned and patriotic citizen of Nigeria has the best interest of a girl child at hand.

Being concerned with the high increase of teenage pregnancy, early marriage, abortions, street hawking, drop outs and so many others it is our mission to find ways of curbing these anomalies to the barest minimum.
