Maintain the heritage of peace, Local Government Chairman Charges ICDU Executives
The first-Rate Council Chairman of the federation, Hon. Chief Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonna (Confirm) that emerged from Ebonyi State, fastest growing economic hub of the nation, received in courtesy the executives members of Ishiagu Community Development Union (ICDU, Abakaliki Branch) in his office.
They acknowledged the pattern the chairman engaged in the community leadership to thrive peace, harmony and sustainable development and recount numerous strides achievements they have heard and seen in space of a year ranging from empowerments, job creations, employment of graduates, students bursaries and scholarships, humanitarian services, infrastructures, Security architecture and road network e.t.c.
Noting such achievements can only take a dedicated leader up a circle of his tenure to near completion but took the workaholic Council Chairman a period of year to achieve, thus, congratulates him on his 1year anniversary with good potrait frame.
The council chairman in response tasked them to support good governance and community development and avoid crisis trigger petitions against their own people for selfish interests or ambitious, such that can gear up expending of the union finance. And in acknowledging their request approved the completion of the “Town Union Hall” at Abakaliki abandoned for years, and shall be present to wrap up their yearly celebration.
