LET GOD COVER YOUR NAKEDNESS – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
TEXT:
Genesis 3:7 KJV.
“And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons”.
MESSAGE:
✓✓ God had put Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. He had provided them with all the conveniences of life: Shelter, Job and Food to eat. Read Genesis 2:8,15,16.
✓✓ However, because the devil does not always want the best for mankind, he came to deceive Adam and Eve and they both disobeyed God.
✓✓ The bible now says, And the eyes of them both were opened.
✓✓ Beloved, the devil is still busy deceiving man in this area today. Most times, you will hear the wife saying to her husband: my eyes are now open, you can’t cage me any more. Really?
✓✓ Today, our youth behave differently from the way we were brought up. Why? It is because And the eyes of them were opened.
✓✓ What we consider a problem today is never a problem. When we see a situation as a problem and we try to solve the problem in our own way, it is then that we actually enter into real problems.
✓✓ Adam and Eve discovered that they were naked and solved the problem of nakedness in their own way. Let us now listen to Adam when God came calling: And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself – Genesis 3:10.
✓✓ Brother Adam, did I hear you say naked? But you have solved the problem of your nakedness your own way now.
✓✓ Beloved, the ways of God are perfect for man. It is when we are not satisfied with the way God has created us and we now try to recreate, that we run into problems.
✓✓ The bible says, I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well – Psalm 139:14.
✓✓ By his grace, I know too well today that I am the most handsome young man on the surface of the earth. I bless God for creating me so special.
✓✓ Some people are not happy that God created them black, so they go about bleaching their skins. Even the men are not left out. I read on the Internet recently about a Ghanian boxer who bleached his skin. In the process, he got his skin burnt.
✓✓ You can’t know better than God. The “eyes” of Adam and Eve that were “opened” then, are the reasons for our suffering today.
✓✓ God didn’t create man to labour for anything. It is because we believe that our eyes are now open that we are suffering.
✓✓ No man can solve his own problem the way God will do. Adam and Eve made aprons from mere leaves to cover their nakedness. However, when God came with his own solution, he made for both of them coats from animal skin. Read Genesis 3:21.
✓✓ Today, the best wares are those made from animal skins. Hand woven. What a wonderful and a creative God we serve.
PRAYERS
1. Father, I am tired of solving my problems in my own way, please step into my case Lord.
2. Lord Jesus, I reject the solutions of man to my problems, please Lord, give me your own solution.
3. Father, I have been too long on the same level because I relied on my own strength, I surrender to you Lord, please take over.
4. My father, my father, let my mockers know that I am serving a living God.
5. Father, let your favour replace my labour in Jesus name.
6. I refuse to dig the wrong ground for solutions, please Lord, lead me to the spring of fresh water that you have prepared for me.
7. Father, don’t allow my nakedness to be exposed for men to see.
8. Lord Jesus, please cover my nakedness and turn my mess to a beautiful message.
9. Father, please pay off my indebtedness and deliver me from the financial mess starring me in the face.
10. Thank you Lord for taking over my battles.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
I pray for somebody today, receive grace to turn all your challenges over to God in Jesus name.
May you not be the architect of your own problems in Jesus name.
The grace to be patient and wait for God’s time, may you receive today in Jesus name.
The solution of man to his problems is always temporal, I therefore decree, a permanent solution to that problem is coming from the Lord right now in Jesus name.
Woman, the challenges you are passing through right now in your marriage are the deceits of the devil, in the beginning, it was not so. I pray for you today, God is stepping into that marriage and the peace of God shall reign in Jesus name.
Young lady, I pray for you, you will not fall for the deceit of the devil in Jesus name.
I decree, the Lord will put an end to all your challenges from today and the devil shall be put to shame in Jesus name.
May your eyes not open to the wrong side of the purpose of God for your life.
Your life shall become what the Lord has destined it to be in Jesus mighty name.
