A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to express shock after her course mate, who went to the hospital due to intense menstrual cramps, unexpectedly returned home with a baby.

Sharing the incident on X (formerly Twitter), the lady revealed that her course mate experienced unusually painful menstrual cramps and decided to seek medical attention.

However, to everyone’s surprise, she ended up delivering a child.

She wrote: “God abeg o, I don’t want this cryptic pregnancy or whatever it’s called 😭😭😭😭.”

“A course mate just had a child. She went to the hospital because her menstrual cramps were more painful than usual, only to come home with a baby. God please, don’t let this happen to me 😭. Nwoke Oma, Biko o.”
