KAI arrests 40 suspects in Lagos raid
Operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps, also known as KAI arrested 40 miscreants during a monitoring and enforcement operation in the Lekki area of the state on Wednesday.
The operation was reportedly aimed at enforcing environmental regulations, maintaining environmental cleanliness and enforcing sanitation regulations in the state.
According to a statement released by the state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, X.com, a suspected notorious armed robber was among those apprehended.
Wahab wrote, “During monitoring and enforcement operation at the early hours of today, operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps #LAGESCOfficial (KAI) apprehended 40 miscreants at Lekki, including a suspected notorious armed robber.”
