Our heritage reporter has reported that the management of Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital on Saturday said no corpse was brought to its facilities.

Police Public Relations Officer of Osun State Command, SP Yemisi Opalola in a chat with InsightMedia on Sunday night said the earlier position of the command was a mistake, stating that the body was taken to UTH after it was exhumed by the police.

Adeyemo when asked to confirm simply said, “Yes, the corpse is the morgue of the hospital. Please direct any other questions to the Police.”

Adegoke was declared missing after he lodged at Hilton hotel in Ile-Ife but his corpse was exhumed following the intervention of security agents.

Chairman of the hotel, Dr Ramon Adedoyin and six others have been arrested in connection with the death of Adegoke and they are all in police custody.
