Just In : Senator Rolls out Busary for thousands of Students In Ondo, Promises more Youths empowerment programs
SENATOR IPINSAGBA ROLLS OUT BURSARY FOR THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS IN ONDO NORTH
The Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Abuja, Olajide Ipinsagba, has concluded plans to roll out bursary awards for students of higher institutions across the six local government areas of the zone.
In a statement by the senator’s media aide, Prince Adeyinka Ajagunna, Senator Ipinsagba expressed his willingness to lessen the burden of economic hardship brought by fuel subsidy removal and high cost of living on students.
The Ondo North Senator also said the gesture is part of efforts to advance education and youth empowerment in the area.
According to him, “as a good representative of the people, we understand the challenges that our people are battling with in present day Nigeria, and we are ready to bring succour to our people. We have embarked on different programmes such as road construction, farm inputs distribution to farmers, as well as engagements with youth groups, constituents, religious leaders, and royal fathers, and now we have decided to assist our higher institution students”.
The benefiting students will cut across all higher institution students in the six local government areas that make up Ondo North Senatorial District, which are Akoko North-East, Akoko North-West, Akoko South-East, Akoko South-West, Owo, and Ose.
