Just In : PDP Candidate Denies Withdrawing From Guber Race
The Gubernatorial Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Imo State, Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu has denied giving up his quest for the coveted governorship seat of the state.
Anyanwu, in a statement issued by his media aide, Ikenna Onuoha, therefore urged his teeming supporters to disregard insinuation that he had thrown in the towel.
He declared as a lie the claim in a trending video that he had given up his ambition to become the next governor of the state.
The candidate who is popularly known as Samdaddy said; ” This video is not only fake, blatant lie from the pit of hell, very mischievious, ridiculous and misleading, but a senseless vile sheepishly formulated to deceive the public”.
He insisted that the video was doctored by mischief-makers to suit the whims and caprices of their sponsor.
Anyanwu asserted that he remains a big threat to one of his opponents who is currently fighting for his life following booings he has continued to receive from the people.
He assured the concerned opponent and his supporters that no blackmail and propaganda would save them from the defeat that awaits them at the poll on Saturday, November 11.
Anyanwu restated that he is in the race to win the Gubernatorial diadem
He said; “Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu remains a candidate to beat in this Saturday Governorship election.
“He is prominently in the race and will never ever think of withdrawing from a contest over 70% percent of observers have ticked him as the likely winner of the poll”
