Just In : Mass defection hits Oyo PDP as 8 lawmakers, leaders set to join APC
Crack in the Oyo State ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as Eight (8) serving Oyo State lawmakers on the platform of PDP and some key leaders of the ruling party are set to join the main opposition party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
A PDP lawmaker who craved anonymity made the disclosure to journalists in Ibadan on Sunday.
He stated that the planned defection is as a result of denied them party’s ticket to contest the 2023 elections
The development is coming barely 3 weeks after Oyo State Deputy Governor, Rauf Olaniyan dumped the ruling party for APC.
