Just In : Ivo Council Boss Debunk lingering Competition Rumours, Making Expected Grassroot Development is our Target
The Ivo Council chairman has debunked rumour running around of his involvement in one football competition which he was never involved in any of the process.
This was contained in a press statement signed and released to our heritage reporter by Egu Richard on Friday evening.
According to Egu Richard, the rumour going round on social media and some little circle of critics who does not access the reality between truth and accusation has drawn our attention to set the records straight, not for the importance of this spin doctors specifically employed with ant feeding stipends to paddle disingenuous information aimed at disrupting and tarnishing the existed brotherly relationship, but in ensuring the integrity, dignity and fair play of the Executive Chairman of Ivo local government area, Chief Hon. Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonna, thus:

The executive chairman of Ivo local government area is posed in discharging his ever demanding duties and sincerely do not have an ample time for ridiculous and selfish critics. The zeal, readiness and love to make a difference in grassroot administration, good governance and making ivo LGA the epicentre of excellence in Ebonyi state has been his utmost desire.

The downplayed report of the football competition and its surrounding activities that occurred was never commanded by the council chairman, a competition he’s never aware of, let it be known that Hon. Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonna the chairman, does not execute authority behind the scenes.

The Chairman was not pre informed neither was any document signed by him to authenticate such approval of the said competition. The law guiding forgery/impersonation still exist and any one found wanting shall bear the cause, as ignorant of law can’t be alternate for excuse.

It is on public domain that Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has approved the publication and release of guidelines for the Conduct of Political Rallies, Processions and Campaigns as well as that of Finances and Election Expenses of political parties, Candidates and Aspirants. Thus, placed a ban on the conduct of political rallies in worship centres and public institutions, and for clarity purposes Ishiagu central school is a public institution that must adhere to such above order for its continuous existence. Meanwhile, no school headmaster/mistress will permit external programmes during school curriculum activities.
