Just In : Governor Fubara Demolishes Rivers State House Of Assembly
Our heritage reporter reports that the Rivers state house of assembly complex is currently being demolished.
This is coming on the heels of the political crisis that has engulfed the state for some weeks now between the camp of former governor, Nyesom Wike and the current governor, Sim Fubara.
The court had recognized the speaker loyal to the governor as the authentic one yesterday, a massive victory for the camp of the current governor.
This morning, bulldozers were seen at the assembly complex to demolish the building. However, one of the media aides in the camp of Governor Fubara described the demolition as renovation.
