Just In : Government Approves N1.9Billion Christmas Palliatives for Citizens
Ebonyi Assembly approves Governor Nwifuru’s N1.9Billion Christmas Palliatives for Ebonyi people to enjoy forthcoming Christmas celebration.
The Ebonyi State House of Assembly has approved the sum of 1.9 Billion Naira for State Government procurement of Christmas palliatives for the people of the state.
The approval was made today during the House plenary session presided by the Speaker Rt Hon Moses Ije Odunwa.at legislative Chambers Nkaliki Road.
The authorization which followed the earlier approval by the State Executive Council members and the request of the Governor, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru was considered appropriate by the Hon members of the State Assembly and granted the request .
Highlighting the importance of palliative to the people of the State, the speaker of the House Rt Hon Chief Moses Ije Odunwa said that the Christmas larges would go a long way in ameliorating the economic hardship experienced by most of the residents of the State.
