Just In : German Ruptly Media Visits Federal Polytechnic Nekede

Impressed with the institution’s invention of an electric vehicle, a German media giant, Ruptly Media, last Friday paid a visit to the Federal Polytechnic Nekede.

The media agency came essentially to see the noiseless electric car, powered by a solar panel, which the Polytechnic under the revolutionary leadership of Engr. Dr. M.C. Arimanwa FNSE produced.

Receiving the agency’s representative on behalf of the Rector, the Deputy Rector Rector (Academic), Dr. C.C. Onyemenonu, expressed joy that the technological exploits of the Polytechnic was being felt across the world.

Describing the institution’s electric car as unique, the Deputy Rector stated that the team of engineers made use of over 90% local materials to construct it, making it a historic car.In his response, the German media agency’s representative, Emmanuel Afolabi, commended the Polytechnic for venturing into such a rare area of technology in Africa.

He further disclosed that he had the mandate of his organization to inspect the vehicle with a view to further spreading the good news abroad. Mr Afolabi expressed optimism that with the vast network of the agency in the Western world, the story of Federal Polytechnic Nekede would further gather momentum.

At the end of the reception, the media representative was taken on a tour of the electric vehicle by Engr. Pius Nwosu and the media office of the Polytechnic.
