Just In : Fire guts veteran actor’s house in Ondo

A ten room apartment owned by a veteran actor, Wole Ogundipe, has been gutted by fire at Sijuwade area of Akure, Ondo State capital, destroying property worth millions of naira.
Ogundipe was the former ANTP governor and has acted in many Yoruba
movies and television drama.
The fire which started around 2.30 pm threw residents of the area into pandemonium.
Many electrical appliances were destroyed by the inferno.
An eye witness said the fire started in a sitting room and spread to other rooms.
The house which was built over years was the only building affected by the inferno.
