The People’s Democratic Party, Owo welcomes the Ondo State Working Committee entourage of the Party ably led by Eyitayo Jegede SAN, who represented Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. Members of the Entourage include; the State vice chairman, the State Secretary, Financial Secretary, Ondo North Senatorial Youth leader, High Chief Okeowo Olafimihan Asaba, Arc Sadiq Obanoyen, Hon Mrs
Eniolorunda Khadijat, Hon Mrs Musili Akinniyi Okoro, Mrs Aarinola Adesida, Hon Ojo Filani, Hon Tunji Dairo, Surv Lawrence, Hon Benson Ogunbode, Col Omowa, Owo Local Government Central working committee, Ward Youth leaders, Women leaders and distinguished members of our dear party, PDP Owo Local Government. They visited and commiserate with the Olowo of Owo, His Imperial Majesty Oba Ajibade Ogunoye III in his palace where the party leadership announced on behalf of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar the donation of the sum of *Ten million naira* to the victims of the satanic and unprovoked terror attack.
The party State Working Committee then proceeded to the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church to condole and console the Church of Christ and also reassured them of our continued support in prayers and financial relieve to the families of the deceased and to the wounded victims recuperating at the hospitals.
The team immediately left for Federal Medical Center, Owo and St Louis Hospital, Owo subsequently to check up on the admitted and injured victims who survived the catastrophic attack. The sight of the wounded was very traumatic as Barrister Eyitayo Jegede relayed the message of hope and of a better tomorrow on behalf of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
This visitation is a follow up to the previous actions taken by the party in solidarity with the families of the victims of the Owo terror attack, even as we continue to agitate for the swift apprehension and conviction of those responsible for the barbaric attack to prevent future reoccurrence.
