Just In : Earthquake shakes America
A 4.7 magnitude earthquake Friday morning (United States of America Time) shook the North Eastern US.
Areas affected include New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Pennsylvania, among others.
According to CNN, residents of these areas said they heard dishes, windows, others rattling, and things falling off the shelf.
A video shown on the TV network showed people walking out of a coffee shop in the early hours (10:30am) of the morning when glasses kept on the tables started shaking.
It said that epic center was reported near Lebanon
However, authorities have said that there was no damage, no life lost or affected, except for flight delays.
Meanwhile, the US Geological Survey has described the earthquake as a light, shallow quake with a depth of 5km/2.9 mi.
New York is not an area of US prone for earthquake.
