Just In : Dino Melaye call for a total cancellation of the Kogi State Governorship Election
On 12th November, 2023 the Kogi State Gubernatorial Candidate from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Dino Melaye speaking at a press conference in Lokoja called for a total cancellation of the Kogi State Governorship Election.
According to Daily Trust, the Kogi State Gubernatorial Candidate from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Dino Melaye said “INEC must cancel the election. We have evidence to back it up.
INEC has manifested gross incompetence; it cannot be trusted, it is biased and compromised. I call for a total cancellation of the election. I sympathize with Kogi people; I weep for Nigeria and the generation unborn.”
Senator Dino Melaye added that during the ongoing Kogi State Governorship Election, a corp member was caught with a prepared results sheet and over one million in his bag.
He also described the rigging of the Kogi State Governorship Election as legendary and scientific. Senator Dino Melaye concluded that he and his camp will wait and see what the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will do
