Just In : Crisis rocks Apc As Rivers Exco Rejects Dissolution With Reason
In response to the dissolution of the Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by the National Working Committee of the party, members of the state executives have rejected the move.
The Rivers APC Chairman, Emeka Beke, denied knowledge of the dissolution and stated that he would provide more details once he had information.
The APC Publicity Secretary, Darlington Nwauju, declared the dissolution illegal and stated that the state executives reject it.
However, he did not comment on whether they plan to go to court, citing concerns about jeopardizing their plans.
The new caretaker committee chairman, Tony Okocha, declined to speak to journalists, noting that he is awaiting inauguration on Friday.
