Arising from their world press conference the members of CampHope organization worldwide has endorsed Governor Hope Uzodimma for second term to complete his eight years in office and their G.O, Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu Omeogo Ogbaturuenyi Na Orlu, to representing his federal constituency Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency come 29th,May 2023.
Addressing Imo state journalist on behalf of the group, Prince Ezeala Akano explained that , CampHope Organisation Worldwide is a political alliance structured to propagate the ideals of good and inclusive governance. It strives to ensure that the dividends of democratic governance is felt at the grassroots. It is typically aligned with the political beliefs and ideals of His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma, Governor of Imo State.
According to him, is on record that the members of CampHope Organisation Worldwide and their Strategic allies worked assiduously to support and facilitate the enthronement of the Shared Prosperity Government in Imo State today ably led by the Indefatigable Governor, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
“The CampHope Organisation Worldwide is therefore, justifiably satisfied that the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has performed creditably well in all facets of Governance and by all measurable indices in the overall governance structure of Imo State in the last 3 years of emergence. An extraordinary strategic meeting of CampHope Organisation Worldwide members and strategic allies was therefore summoned on Tuesday 7th February, 2023 at Transtell Hotels, Owerri, Imo State for the aforementioned reasons” He said
Akano continued, Having considered the superlative performance of His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma as Governor of Imo State in the last 3 years; having resolved to mobilise human and material resources to purchase the Nomination and Expression of Interests forms to support the reelection of His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma as Governor of Imo State and Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu for the House of Representatives seat of Orlu, Orsu, Oru East Federal Constituency, the CampHope Organisation Worldwide hereby ENDORSES His Excellency, Senator Hope Odidika Uzodimma for re-election as Governor of Imo in November, 2023 and Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu for election into the House of Representatives for Orlu, Orsu, Oru East Federal Constituency in February, 2023 General elections.
They explained that the reason for the endorsement was that, His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodimma has performed far above average in all measurable indices of governance in Imo State since the last 3 years, massive road constructions in Imo State under Governor Hope Uzodimma, most especially, the construction of Owerri-Orlu Road, construction of Owerri-Okigwe Road, Owerri-Mbaise-Umuahia Road, Orlu-Mgbee-Akokwa-Uga Road, the reformed of Imo State Civil Service and automated the payroll system including the prompt payment of pensions of retired servants and he has ensured greater cooperation and synergy among the three organs of government in Imo State with each operating independently while serving as a check and balance on the other in a mutually cooperative manner.
In their resolutions, they resolved as follows that, The CampHope Organisation Worldwide will support His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma to run for the office of Governor of Imo State for the second term come November, 2023.
The CampHope Organisation will singlehandedly, through thrift contributions by members, purchase the Nomination and Expression of Interest forms for the second term contest of His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma for Governor of Imo State in November 2023.
The CampHope Organisation Worldwide will mobilise both human and material resources to ensure the reelection of His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma as Governor of Imo State come November, 2023.
In the same vein, the CampHope Organisation Worldwide declared totally support for the election of Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu as member representing Orlu, Orsu, Oru East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
