Just In : APC’s Rauf replaces LP’s Doherty at Lagos Assembly

On Wednesday, Rauf Age-Suleiman, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Amuwo-Odofin Constituency 2 at the Lagos Assembly took his oath of office.
All Nigeria Latest News reports that Rauf took the oath before Speaker Mudashiru Obasa and other lawmakers.
By taking this oath, he has assumed the position previously held by Olukayode Doherty of the Labour Party, who was recently removed by the Court of Appeal.
Speaker Obasa congratulated the governor, the APC and the people of Amuwo-Odofin saying that with the oath of office, the ruling party now has 39 members in the House.
