During an interview with Channels TV, Governor Adeleke said after the election in 2018 which he lost, he went back to school and completed his studies and it prepared him to be governor in 2022. He said people raised questions about how he was able to finish his educational program in less than two years.

Explaining, Adeleke said in the USA, education institutions have policies that allow individuals to resume their studies after a break or interruption and that by providing his transcript and records, he was able to resume his studies and finish in less than two years rather than starting from scratch. According to Governor Adeleke

“They cheated me in 2018, everybody knew I won that election but maybe God said it was not yet time for me. I went back to school, not that I didn’t go to school, but in the USA, you can go to school and leave and come back.

All you have to do is to look for your transcript and records and bring it out and you continue. So People were confused, they said how can I go back to school and finish in less than two years.

They didn’t know that I had accumulated transcripts and results so that gave me the opportunity, God prepared me for this task for this job. So after I finished school I came in ready to work”.
