June 12 – Group mobilze to Abuja seeks for media coverage for protest against minimum wage, hunger and insecurity
Ahead of the june 12 Democracy day celebration, report has it that numerous buses are mobilising youths into Abuja on Tuesday night for democracy day protest.
As a result, a notification has been pasted at the NUJ office in Abuja requesting for media coverage
The document reads: We the members of Nigerian Youth Movement wish to solicit for your candid assistant to give media coverage to our national demonstration scheduled for 12 of June, 2024 in Abuja by 12noon.
The procession is scheduled to commence at strategic points in Garki, Lugbe and Wuse axis of the federal capital territory as teaming Nigerian Youths drawn from various states of the federation have arrived FCT for the exercise.
It has become imperative that we voice out now before we all perish in silence.
Enough is Enough as even security agencies especially the military have made themselves so Impotent in the hands of politicians that they can’t even rise up to save Nigerians at a time as this, hence our resolve to speak out now.
