Ivo Council Chairman Commends Ebonyi Governor on Sport Developments and Talent Hunt’s programs
Following the conclusion of “Ebonyi State inter local government area governor’s cup” that saw Ebonyi LGA emerged Champion by beating Ishielu LGA 2 goal to 1, some talented and vibrant young footballers stands out among many prepared to explore their dreams of reaching national football with their physical agility and technicalities but await executive nod as a sign of empowerments and such platform to further in their talent.
As a leader who drives pleasure in growing youths and talents, His Excellency, the governor, announced the floating of a State football team where the membership shall be sourced from the three Senatorial zone of the state, and shall be nurtured atleast for a year and equipped to thrive at the highest level.
Thus, the national award winning chairman of Ivo local government area, the 24/7 Projects Facilitator, Hon. Chief Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonna (Confirm) deemed necessary to highly commend the TALK and DO father of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru FNIOB GGCEHF for such rare privileges of supporting the youths and gearing them to do more in their various field of endeavours.
The chairman was quick to note that many persons may not know the essence of this governor’s cup and football competition in general but should research to know that football is an avenue of cementing unity and oneness and a good talented teams can boasts economic force of the state, “my team, Ivo LGA was crash out of this competition in the quarter final and was not happy but strongly believed they will do more next time”.
The governor has been very committed in accordance with his mandate since assumption and just reached 100days in the office few days with so much achievements already, the chairman concluded.
